Our Lobbying StatementUpdated a minute ago
For B Corp organisations, lobbying is defined as transparent, evidence-based engagement with policymakers to advance social and environmental goals, rather than solely for private gain. Under new B Corp standards, responsible lobbying requires aligning political activity with the company’s purpose, publicly disclosing positions/contributions, and strengthening democratic processes.
In accordance with the B Corp definition of lobbying as transparent, evidence-based engagement with policymakers to advance social and environmental goals, Fussy confirms that:
- We do not currently engage in lobbying activities, as defined above.
- We do not employ third-party lobbyists or representatives to influence legislation, regulations, or government policy on its behalf.
Should Fussy Ltd decide to engage in lobbying in the future, we will:
- Ensure that any political engagement aligns with our company purpose and social and environmental commitments;
- Implement annual public reporting of lobbying positions and political contributions, in line with B Corp Year 3 (Y3) and Year 5 (Y5) requirements; and
- Maintain transparency regarding any relevant policy engagement activities.
If Fussy Ltd continues not to engage in lobbying, we will ensure that a clear public statement of non-engagement remains available and up to date."
